‘Instructive parents’…..? At the age of Internet, Android,
WhatsApp, Twitter …. ? Do you think ….. that’s possible any more ? No Way . No
More. What they expect from us is, that,
we must be the Buddy parents, Interactive parents, Friendly parents ….& that's all.
Gone are the day’s when we were ordered by our parents or
grandparents, to do something or to not to do something. Even we used to felt
very bad when we were forced to do something….. that was beyond our
expectations. Even we felt it bad when we had to move as a puppet, on the
orders of our elders. We never liked it at our age, and so, how can we repeat
the same process with our kids.
Now’s the time when we must be the Buddy parents with whom,
the child can mix up as a friend, could discuss everything, may be good or bad,
and in that friendly chat, being the interactive parents, we can make up their
mind towards the better, towards the life, towards the target to be achieved,
but ……..in a friendly manner.
We must empower, boost their energy levels, to make them
compatible with the prevailing system where it’s difficult to get a seat in a
good college even after getting 95% marks. We want them to be fearless in this
dirty society where even kids are not safe out of the home. And we can never do
it by giving instructions. We can teach them, in a much better way, by being
the interactive Mom & Dad. We must concentrate on the principles of
“khuljae Bachpan” & “Khiljae Bachpan”.
We must have the ‘bonding moments’ with our kids so that, they could get the feeling of our love and affection towards them, that could make them feel more secure and stronger. We must start boosting our kids since the early childhood days and you will definitely get the desired ‘Khushi ke pal’.
I know that while using my Android, whenever, I get some problem, I just pass it on to my daughters and the problem is sorted out in minutes. I can say I am absolutely dependent upon them, at least for maintaining my Android mobile and that’s truly the ‘Khushi ke pal’ for me.

Similarly, when we are out on the vacation, while I capture
pictures using my Nikon, she uses her selfie stick to capture the entire world
on her mobile. The minute she asks me to fit in the small frame of her mobile,
it gives me the desired ‘Khushi ke pal’.
I remember the day when my mom was serious in hospital
& in the tension, I could not go to the ATM, she brought her Piggy Bank to
me and offered me to take as much as I wanted. That indeed was, one of the
best ‘Khushi ke pal’ for me.
Once, while I was very tired, she (my daughter) opened the packet of Kellogg’s Chocos and started feeding me like a small baby while my wife was making a cup of tea for me. That was, also, one of the best ‘Khushi ke pal’ for me.
There are many such instances that bring a
smile on my face and even boost my energy level by consuming Kellogg’s Chocos.
Even you can feel the desired ‘Khushi ke pal’, by just opening a packet of
Kellogg’s Chocos. You can know more about it from the face Book link : https://www.facebook.com/mychocos.
Informative indeed. Thanks. My Small World
