Website / Blog Ranking sites : Are they reliable any more ?

We all run after the ranking sites such as Alexa, Moz, Google Analytics & so on for a higher rank. Earlier these were the SEO techniques that were helping to raise the rankings. But now almost everyone has started charging a significant price. So my very simple question: Are they reliable anymore?

I am a businessman and in my opinion, if you pay, you will get higher ranks and if you don’t pay, you won’t get those rankings. There are many agencies in the market who are offering Twitter, FB and other Social media network followers against a price. Persons are there who offer YouTube views at an agreed cost.

Earlier Alexa was Free and highly reliable. But they made three categories and started charging a huge monthly figure.  The cost of a simple Alexa Rank of your site has now been DOUBLED at almost $20 per month, with many more limitations to be covered under various higher costs. Similarly, you have to pay $99 to $149 per month under two other categories, and the problem is that even for your Free Trial of 7 days, you have to furnish your Credit / Debit card details.

MOZ was also absolutely free, but now you have to choose MOZ PRO, and the four categories are available at $99 per month, $149 per month, $249 per month as well $599 per month. Again, you have to furnish your credit card details for a Free trial of 30 days.

Google Analytics is Free but the traffic it shows is nowhere near to the traffic & visits visible in your blogger dashboard. On the other hand, the Google Analytics premium is available at a monthly cost which is beyond the pocket of at least the Indian bloggers, i.e. $12,500 per month, $1,50,000 per annum.

Even for the basic Alexa & basic Moz you have to pay almost $120 a month, $1,440 for a year, which comes to approx Rs 1 lakh per annum. So bloggers, if you really want to earn out of your blog, you have to shell out as above, with a hope that it will have some impact on Google analytics.

My very simple question is still there. Are they reliable anymore? If not, then why all the Blogging Platforms rank their member bloggers on the basis of above criterion?

Status of .in Vs .com Blogspot Blogs ?

Please check if your .in blogspot blogs are appearing in Google ?  My .in blogspot blogs are not appearing in Google or any other search engine, for the last 2 to 3 days.

But while trying on various search engines, i found that, though my .in blogspot blogs were not at all appearing, but by using .com ( that we used earlier ), all the blogs were appearing, but with the dropped Alexa rankings.

Please revert with a comment.
Cheer up & keep on blogging !!!!!

Try this Free of cost for a good ranking on Alexa & Moz

Rankings are very crucial nowadays for a better visibility on various search engines. We are sharing below the Top most options, for a better ranking of your Website or a Blog. You can try the Alexa rankings as well as the Moz for a better visibility. You can have a Free trial to see the difference, before opting for a suitable package.

ALEXA :
Just pay $9.99 per month for a Basic account with Alexa for a website or a blog, and your Alexa rankings will start improving. If you opt for the Insight or the Advanced account, you have to pay $49 or $149 per month respectively. If you have opted the Basic account, at the rate of $9.99, it will cost you something around 8,000 per annum for a better ranking on Alexa.

The Basic account is for the Small business or small website owners. Insight account is for the professionals, whereas, the Advanced account is for the growth masters. All these Alexa accounts have different features, depending upon the money to be paid. You can even go for a free trial run on Alexa for 7 days.

MOZ :
Similarly, if you wish to have a better ranking and visibility on MOZ, You can choose a monthly as well as a yearly payment plan. The monthly option has four variants, i.e. Standard for $99 per month, Medium for $149 per month, Large for $249 per month, and the Premium for $599 per month. If you opt the annual option, the price is a bit lower, i.e. Standard for $79 per month, Medium for $119 per month, Large for $199 per month, and the Premium at $479 per month. You can begin with a Free Trial for 30 days.

The only problem is that if you convert the above prices into Indian currency, the amount becomes very large and almost out of the scope of the Non Professional bloggers. The result is that the Non Professional Bloggers or Website owners are getting Lower rankings and lesser visibility on certain platforms.

Both Alexa & Moz, must look into the cost impact on the currency conversion and must introduce a better option for the very vast Indian market. In my opinion, even if the prices are reduced to the bare minimum, they will still make good money as more and more persons will be able to join them.

As discussed above, once the Free trial options are over, the paid plans of Alexa are as below :

How to check Rankings of your Website or Blog on MOZ as well as Alexa ?

Yeah, we used to check our rankings of Websites and Blogs on MOZ as well as Alexa, as these two were treated as the most prominent ones. But all of a sudden things have changed. There are no more free options available now. If you want to use, you must pay. But the prices are much higher if we convert them into Indian currency.

MOZ has stopped showing your Free rankings of Blogs or websites. You have to pay them now at least $ 99 mo for 5 moz analytical campaigns. Earlier we used to check our Moz rankings without paying anything. But now we have to pay at least INR 7000 /- per month for that. Please check the MOZ Link at :

Even for Alexa you have to pay between $ 10 mo to $ 149 mo to get perfect insights about your blog and website. Though they are still showing our rankings free of cost, but these are not up to the mark. Please check the Alexa Link at :

If you earn in $, these figures may not pinch you, but if we have to convert it into our Indian currency, we have now to shed at least INR 7 - 8000 per month for our rankings, which almost 99% of the Bloggers (at least) can't afford. So one thing is very much clear that the Free Bees era from Moz or Alexa is over now.

Strange, we the Indians are the Top most software experts and working in almost every country in almost every company in the Top positions, then, why we cannot generate our own system of Rankings that could be accepted worldwide ?

How to keep an eye on your Twitter Followers ?

I joined Twitter just around 45 days ago. As i am very much familiar with the social media terms, i started getting good quality followers regularly. But the thing that shocked me was that few of those followers were just unfollowing to keep them with lesser followings & more followers. It was really surprising & shocking for me.

So i thought of finding the way to keep an eye on those who were indulging in such practices. Soon i got a website that opened with the Twitter ID. Though, I was doubtful of its working, i tried it and in a minute i got a list of all those Followers who had followed me and than unfollowed.

It was a real pleasure for me as i had got a list of all those cheaters & the best part was that, the website had offered instant unfollow buttons too. I thanked that website and immediately unfollowed all those guys.

Now it has become my regular activity to keep an eye on my Twitter Followers & to remove the Unfollowers. Even you must keep an eye on all those who are indulging in such practices on Twitter & must unfollow them instantly.
